Account Verification (Identity Check)
To access certain Aero Mate features, you may be required to complete an identity verification step.
Aero Mate uses Stripe Identity, a secure external verification service, to confirm your identity.
Follow the steps below:
1. Open Your Profile
- Click the user icon in the top-right corner of the Aero Mate portal.
- Select Profile from the dropdown menu.

2. Start Verification
Inside your profile page, locate the Verification section and click:
Start Verification
This will redirect you to our trusted verification provider.

3. Verify Your Identity with Stripe
You will now be taken to Stripe Identity:
https://stripe.com/de/identity
Stripe will guide you through the verification process, which typically includes:
- Confirming your email address
- Taking a photo of your government-issued ID
- Completing a selfie / liveness check

4. Return to Aero Mate
After you complete the steps, Stripe will securely send the results to Aero Mate.
Once processed, your profile will show your verification status as:

If you encounter issues with identity verification:
- Make sure your camera works (for selfie checks)
- Use a well-lit environment
- Hold your ID clearly and avoid reflections
